The Toy Museum of NY accepts donations of antique toys, used vehicles and boobies
Educational non-profit organization offers a meaningful way to donate your collectibles, antiques and used vehicles from coast to coast
BROOKLYN, NY, October 6, 2021 / PRNewswire / – The Toy Museum of New York (www.ToyMuseumNY.org) announced in a meaningful way to support its mission and celebrate the importance of play. Owners of collectible dolls and toys or large used vehicles can now donate items from across the country to support educational non-profit organization.
In partnership with Peddle.com and the Lloyd Ralston Gallery, The Toy Museum of NY accepts donations of large vehicles, as well as collections of antique and vintage toys or games from the 1890s to 1990s. The process is simple and begins by contacting the Toy Museum at 718-243- 0820 or [email protected].
For people who don’t want to preserve the old pile of daddy sitting in the aisle or store the vast collection of mom’s dolls, the toy museum will get rid of it for you. All proceeds from donated items support the Museum’s mission, which uses dolls and toys to highlight the importance of art, history and play.
“For more than 20 years, the Toy Museum of NY has celebrated the importance of toys through its performances, workshops and traveling exhibits aimed at elementary school children,” said Marlene Hochman, founder and president of the Toy Museum of NY. “Through these partnerships, collectible toys, along with old junk, will provide the Museum with continued financial support.
“As soon as I heard of this opportunity, I was eager to donate my used vehicle and some old dolls from my attic. It is a great feeling to know that the things I have enjoyed for so long will help give back to a worthy cause, “said Sandy, a recent donor. To learn more about the program or to donate your vehicle or collectibles to auction, please call 718-243-0820 or email [email protected]. All donations are tax deductible.
