The Madison-Bouckville Antique Show returns after a year-long hiatus

BOUCKVILLE, NY – As more people receive their covid-19 vaccine and the number of positive cases of the virus continues to decline, things are slowly returning to normal.
After a one-year hiatus, normal for the people of the Bouckville-Madison area means a return to antiquity.
Over 150 merchants set up along Route-20 for the Madison-Bouckville June Antique Show this weekend, and they had a lot to offer. Antiques, vintage items, collectibles, furniture, pretty much any marble – yes, they had some there too. You just had to know where to look to find the treasure you were looking for.
That’s, says Michael Cavaller, an antique dealer in the Cooperstown area, what makes antiques so fun.
“A lot of times it’s funny because there will be things that you see that you might not be interested in, but people themselves travel for miles trying to find this thing. treasure hunt You find items and then you try to describe them, figure out what they are People get excited when they go out and find the items they were looking for.
Cavaller says he gets a lot of loyal customers and it was finally good to be able to see them again.
The antique fair ends on Sunday. It operates from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
