A man who covered 95% of his body in ink in just four years – enduring an incredible 260 hours under the needle.
US tattoo apprentice Tristan Weigelt began his body transformation in 2018 and it has so far cost the 25-year-old body art enthusiast over £40,000 and left him completely unrecognizable.
Tristian, who now lives in Copenhagen, Denmark, said his parents have yet to see his new look in person, Daily Star reports.
He recently shared before and after photos with his thousands of Instagram followers, showing his transformation over the years.
Underneath the post, a fan commented, “What do your parents say? Have you ever seen them in person with the new look?”
Tristan replied, “I didn’t. My mom would hate it though.
He added that he had no plans to see his family anytime soon – but he had previously admitted to the Daily Star that women found his appearance frightening.
“People stare a lot but I don’t notice it as much,” he said.
“It scares a lot of women, but other than that there hasn’t been a negative reaction. Most people are really positive.
“A lot of people watch and are quite fascinated. My friends now say it’s almost like walking around with a celebrity.

But he added: “My parents hate it.”
The only areas of his body that are not yet tattooed are his palms, his private parts and the bottom of his feet and his ears.
He said the most painful areas to ink were his face, armpits, solar plexus and feet.
Another curious follower asked, “Amazing man, but what are you going to do when you’re old?”
To which Tristan replied with the word “die” followed by a laughing emoji.
And although he looks drastically different, Tristan insisted, “Nothing has really changed except my skin color.
“I’m still the same old me inside. I certainly don’t feel any different inside than I did back then.
Ever since he got his first tattoo, Tristan had the ambition to be covered.
“I thought ‘why not?’ I’ve come this far, so might as well keep going,” he said.
His orange tattoo costume – featuring a dragon on the back – is inspired by “Japanese tradition”.
And Tristan gave the following advice to those looking to get inked.
He said: “Anyone who is considering getting a tattoo, get the tattoo you love.
“Get what you love and what makes sense to you. I see so many people worrying that a certain tattoo is right for them or it’s not their style. If you like it, then take it…
“No one would have told me my tattoos would suit me if I had asked someone five years ago.
“But now no one can imagine me without them.”
