McDonald’s gives free iPhone to employees who stay for six months
During ongoing health crises, it is not easy to hire people, especially for companies that cannot handle remote work. Nonetheless, these companies are coming up with new ways to give people special incentives for their physical presence. Apparently, MacDonald’s restaurant in Illinois is giving their employees a free iPhone that has at least six months left.
McDonald’s gives employees a free iPhone, but you must stay at work for at least six months
As previously mentioned, a McDonald’s restaurant in Illinois installed a sign that read “Now Recruiting.” Free iPhone ”(via Room). Note that at the bottom of the sign, the company also mentions that employees must meet the hiring criteria. This means that McDonald’s could potentially have its own terms and conditions for the deal to go through. One of those criteria is that MacDonald’s will only give its employees a free iPhone if they stick around for at least six months.
If you leave work before six months, the deal is canceled and there will be no free iPhone for the employee. It’s one way to hire people during the pandemic given that fast food companies have faced a downturn when it comes to recruiting new employees. Still, a free iPhone is a good reward for anyone looking for a job at McDonald’s.
We are seeing a trend in the way companies are willing to offer employees incentives and bonuses. We also heard that Foxconn offers a bonus for new hires since they work for a period of 3 months. This is due to the increased demand for iPhone.
That’s all there is to it, folks. We will share more details as soon as we have more information. What do you think of the fact that McDonald’s is giving its employees a free iPhone? Let us know in the comments section below.
