Junkin ‘in June brings shoppers to central Iowa this weekend
this summer Central Iowa Junk Jaunt will take place Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and buyers will have 21 stops in Story, Boone and Hamilton counties.
With two events per year – Junkin ‘in June and Fall for Junk – the event attracts a crowd of destination buyers. Hours will be 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.
Each location on the Junk Jaunt map is “hand picked from vintage and handmade vendors, local Iowa stores, and pop-ups,” according to the Junk Jaunt website.
The small town of Jewell has the most stops this year, with nine of the stops on the map, which can be downloaded from the Central Iowa Junk Jaunt website.
