Guide to parking, tickets and tailgating
This year, UTEP football fans should check their wardrobes before going out to watch a minors game at the Sun Bowl. And for some, that can mean covering up tattoos.
UTEP’s athletics department has a section on clothing in its 2021 fan guide, advising fans that they cannot wear clothing that displays profane or offensive material.
“This includes, but is not limited to, clothing, tattoos, body art or anything displayed on a guest’s body and deemed profane or offensive by UTEP Athletics,” the Fan Guide states. “A guest may be asked to remove, reverse, cover or add clothing, so that the image or wording is no longer visible.”
Fans who enjoy being on their phone may be asked to stop using it if it interferes with another guest’s ability to enjoy the atmosphere.
