Buddy M. “BJ” Jarvis – Chattanoogan.com

Buddy M. “BJ” Jarvis, of Hixson, was welcomed into Heaven on December 23 at the age of 81.
He loved spending time with his family, was a huge Tennessee football fan and has spent the past 30+ years as an antique dealer. BJ loved to spend time buying, selling and trading, but above all it was his love for the Lord. He always found an opportunity to give and be a blessing for someone in need.
He was the third son of Thomas and Louise Shaffer Jarvis, who predeceased him in death. He was also predeceased by his granddaughter, Elizabeth Denise Jarvis.
He is survived by his wife Becky and sons, Mike and his wife Pennie, Mickey, James (JJ) and his wife Stephanie and Thomas (TJ); grandchildren, Paul and wife Ashley, Angela, Rylee, Claire and Raelyn; great-grandsons, Charlie and Patrick; brothers, Thomas and his wife Trish, and Bill and his wife Jo; several nieces and nephews, including the special niece, Cheryl Feeney; best friend, Gene Watts; and a host of local friends and colleagues in the Chattanooga and North Georgia antique trade.
A Celebration of Life will take place on Tuesday January 11 at Stuart Heights Baptist Church Chattanooga Campus, 3208 Hixson Pike, 37415.
Visits will take place at 11 a.m. with services at 12 p.m.
