Baytree Garden Center hosted a fun antiques fair

Vintage lovers were treated to a shopping delight over the weekend.
Weston’s Baytree Garden Center held a fun antique fair, with over 50 stalls set up throughout the day.
A range of excellent products were on offer including popular militaria, jewellery, vintage toys, furniture and kitchenware.
Jerry Fuller, a Baytree staff member who helped organize the event, was thrilled with how things turned out.
“We were absolutely stuffed with punters,” he said.
“It was really good and very positive. People were happy to be out.
“It was nice to see a number of people we hadn’t seen in a few years.”
Mr. Fuller had his own booth that day and was happy that almost everyone who demanded a place showed up to sell their wares.
“The turnout from the public and traders has been incredible,” he said.
“We are all struggling for stocks right now, but there were a lot of traders from afar spending.
“They weren’t afraid to spend. I’ve been making fayres for almost 15 years and you normally struggle to get £30 from people but everyone was more than happy to buy.
“The restaurant took advantage of it, so it was worth doing.
“I’m absolutely broken now, but it’s gone.”
Baytree staff are currently discussing plans for another fayre, with nothing concrete yet.
