1. Victorian sofa

Victorian sofa – estimate £ 300-500 at Gorringe on December 20.

This Victorian double spoon sofa in carved rosewood and covered in deep buttoned scarlet velvet is 6 feet 5 inches (2 m) long and is priced between £ 300 and £ 500. It will be auctioned off in the Lewes Gorringe auction room on December 20.

Three-piece Georgian tea set – valued at £ 500-700 at Gerrards on December 21-22.

A three-piece Georgian silver tea set includes a teapot (London Hallmark 1806, maker Crispen Fuller); a hallmarked milk jug for London 1801; and sugar bowl, London hallmark 1819, manufacturer JW-CW. It will be offered at Gerrards of Lytham St Annes with a valuation of £ 500-700 on December 21-22.

3. Victorian watercolor

Portrait called ‘In Disgrace’ by Victorian watercolorist Charles Sillem Lidderdale (1831-95) valued at £ 4000-5000 at Claydon Auctioneers in Middle Claydon, Buckinghamshire on December 29-31.

Portraits of young women in outdoor settings were the main production of Victorian watercolorist Charles Sillem Lidderdale (1831-95). This copy, monogrammed and dated 1873, is entitled In Disgrace, the subject relegated to the corner of a room on this occasion. At the three-day sale at Claydon Auctioneers in Middle Claydon, Buckinghamshire, from December 29 to 31, it was estimated to be between £ 4,000 and £ 5,000.
