brad pitt caused a stir at the Berlin premiere of his action movie High-speed train for a few obvious reasons. The Oscar-winning actress, 58, showed up in an incredible one-person wardrobe, wearing a maroon skirt and black leather combat boots. While the unique clothing choices turned heads, it was the peek at her leg tattoos that really sent photographers into a frenzy. On one exposed shin, Brad showed a drawing of a rhino face, while the other shin appeared to have an inked human skull. Although the meaning of the two tattoos is unclear, they are certainly ripe for interpretation.

As Brad often keeps his body art (from clothes) a secret, the unexpected revelation piqued the interest of his legion of stans. Let’s take a closer look at Brad’s other tattoos, below!

The ice cream man

On his left forearm, Brad has the silhouette of a man known as Otzi the Iceman, also known as Frozen Fritz and Similaun Man. Below the design is the word “invictus”, which means “undefeated”. The body art was added after one of his first tattoos, which is right next to it. It’s a sentence that reads “Absurdités de l’existence”, which in French means “Life is absurd”.

On his other forearm, Brad has two long, thin lines that form the shape of a cross. Along the horizontal line are the initials of his family members, including his ex-wife Angelina Jolie! The command reads: “A” for Angelina, “M” for Maddox“P” for pax“Z” for Zahara“S” for Shilo“K” for Knox and “V” for Vivienne. It is a beautiful tribute to his great offspring!

Angelina’s birthday

In another nod to his former love, Brad had Angelina’s date of birth inked on his lower stomach, which he showed off while greeting his fans during a photoshoot for his 2014 film. Fury. The numerals for the date, 6/4/75 were inked in Khmer, which is the official language of Cambodia, the country dear to Angelina because she did humanitarian work there and it is the homeland of her first son Maddox.

Rumi’s Poem

Brad is definitely a romantic at heart. The Oscar winner reportedly received a poem by Rumi inked on his right arm before he married Angelina in 2014. The short line reads: ‘There is a field, beyond all notions of good and wrong. I will meet you there.

Shadow Man

More recently, Brad got another tattoo right next to Rumi’s poem. It is the silhouette of a man standing with his shadow in front of him.

Angelina’s doodle

Many of Brad’s tattoos involve his ex Angelina, which is heartbreaking to say the least. On his lower back, he sports a series of lines or “squiggles” said to have been made by the Maleficent star herself.

Motorbike

It’s no secret that Brad loves riding motorcycles. The romance runs so deep that he decided to have an image inked on the outside of his left arm! The representation is the front of the bike and it looks like it was drawn by hand!
